The lodge is surrounded by beautiful grounds, perfect for walking and exploring Pukaskwa National Park and Lake Superior Provincial Park. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast provided was basic but exactly what we needed. The cabin we stayed in was modern and comfortable, with a great shower and a small kitchen equipped for basic meals. Despite being a little out of the way, it was a nice break from civilization, with no shopping or restaurants nearby.

The view from our cabin was absolutely breathtaking, with the lake and surrounding forests creating a picturesque winter wonderland. the staff at this rustic lodge were incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure our Christmas stay was memorable. the cozy cabin provided a comfortable retreat, and the included breakfast was delicious and satisfying.
Although the remote location was a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, it did mean that the internet and cellphone service were unreliable. the lack of locks on the cabin doors was a bit concerning for security purposes.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a rustic lodge nestled in a peaceful northern, lake location. the hospitality was outstanding, with the property being clean and well, maintained. I enjoyed waking up to the serene sounds of loons and the gentle lapping of water. the home, cooked breakfast and endless coffee were a great way to start the day. Being able to disconnect from the world and enjoy activities such as fishing, swimming, and painting was truly rejuvenating.
It's worth noting that the internet and cell service can be spotty, so it's best to come prepared with any necessary downloads or entertainment.

The beds were incredibly comfortable and provided a good night's sleep. The location of the hotel was peaceful and quiet, offering a serene environment. we were able to enjoy swimming right in front of our cottage unit, which was a great advantage during our stay.
There were a few drawbacks during our visit. The lack of locks on the cabin doors felt strange and concerning, considering safety is usually a priority.

We had a fantastic getaway at a dog-friendly lodge surrounded by beautiful grounds perfect for walking. The location provided easy access to Pukaskwa National Park and Lake Superior Provincial Park. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. Though the breakfast was basic, it was exactly what we needed and was conveniently served for takeout. The only downside was some noise from adjacent rooms, but it was only one evening and didn't detract from our overall experience.
